Setting Up the Hik-Connect Mobile App for Hikvision Products
The Hik-Connect mobile app allows users to remotely access their Hikvision CCTV system. Follow these steps to configure the app for remote viewing.
Step 1: Download the Hik-Connect App
- Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for Hik-Connect - for End User and download the app.
Step 2: Add a New Device
- Open the Hik-Connect app.
- Tap the plus (+) sign and select Manual Adding.
Step 3: Enter Device Information
Fill in the following details to connect your camera system:

Alias: Enter a nickname for your device.

Adding Type: Select IP/Domain.

Address: Enter your external IP address. To find this, visit WhatIsMyIP.com while disconnected from the center's Wi-Fi.

Note: If accessing cameras within the center, use the internal IP address instead.

Port: Enter 8000 (default Hikvision port).

Username: Use the same credentials as when accessing the cameras at the center.

Password: Enter the password associated with the username.
Step 4: Save and Start Live View
- Tap the Save button (floppy disk icon) in the top-right corner.
- Press the Play button in the top-right corner.
- Select the newly added device to start live viewing.
