External Connection of Camera - HikVision
Software utilized by Windows computer is called IVMS 4200
1. If network equipment is from Ubiquiti, we can utilize the Ubiquity gateway to control the network.
If the center does not use Ubiquiti, they will need to contact their Internet Service Provider to set their port forwarding rules. Ports 100 and 8000 over TCP and UDP
2. NVR Ports are set by a technician on-site. We use the ports 100 for HTTP and 8000 for Server.
4. Click on the link underneath ‘Software’. After it has been installed, launch the download and proceed with the installation process.
5. For first time users, you will create a login account to access your camera system.
6. Select Device Management > Device > (+) Add
7. Enter Center name, IP address (if outside the center enter public IP address which can be obtained from going to
https://surfshark.com/what-is-my-ip on a center computer), port is 8000, enter CCTV username/password
8. Make sure it says that the device is ‘Online’ under Resource Usage Status
9. Go to Groups and select ‘Create Group by Device Name’. All of the center’s camera should now appear listed under imported resource.
10. To view live cameras, click on the four squares > Main View > select the camera and click on the play button.
