Camera Not Displaying After Installing Plugin (Microsoft Edge)
If your CCTV cameras are not showing after installing the required plugin, follow these steps to configure Microsoft Edge to allow Internet Explorer (IE) mode.
Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge Settings
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the ellipsis (⋮) menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
Step 2: Enable Internet Explorer Mode
- In the Settings search bar, type "Internet".
- Click on Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode.
- Ensure the toggle switch is enabled.

Step 3: Find the Local IP Address of Your CCTV System
To access your CCTV system within the facility, you need its local IP address. Follow these steps using Advanced IP Scanner (which should already be installed on your computer):
- Open Advanced IP Scanner.
- Click Scan to detect all devices on your local network.
- Locate the device labeled NVR, DVR, or a manufacturer name related to your CCTV system.
- Note the IP address assigned to the CCTV system.
Step 4: Add the CCTV Camera System URL
- Before restarting the browser, click Add under the Internet Explorer mode pages section.
- Copy and paste the full URL of your CCTV camera system found in step 3 which typically ends in 100 (e.g.,
http://192.168.1.100.).
- Add the HTTP port number to the end of the URL which is also typically 100 (e.x. 192.168.1.100:100)
- Ensure you enter the correct IP address assigned to your CCTV system.

Step 5: Restart Edge and Access the Camera System
- Restart Microsoft Edge for the changes to take effect.
- Log into the CCTV admin page.
- To start the camera feed, click the Play button located at the bottom right of the page.
