Leap will not turn on
If your LEAP display is not powering on, the troubleshooting steps will depend on the type of screen you are using. LEAP units may come with either a Cleartouch screen or a Starboard screen, and each has its own setup and power connections. To help get your display back online as quickly as possible, please review the instructions below for your model. If the steps do not resolve the issue, we have also included the direct support contacts for Cleartouch and Starboard so you can reach out for additional assistance.
For Cleartouch Screens
- Make sure the power cable is securely connected from the Cleartouch screen to the wall outlet.
- Locate the power flip switch (just left of the logo, underneath the screen near the power cord connection) and ensure it is switched on.
- Try removing the PC module on the right side of the screen and sliding it back in. (See attached GIF for guidance.)
If the above does not work, please reach out to Cleartouch support:
For Starboard Screens
- Ensure the power cord is connected into the PC that sits at the top of the LEAP.
- Confirm that the LEAP itself is plugged into power as well.
- Make sure the PC is turned on.
- Verify the LEAP is set to the correct input (HDMI 1, 2, or 3).
- Try swapping the display/HDMI cable between the PC and the LEAP screen.
